Butler Believes in Giving Back

August 26, 2016

At Butler Weihmuller Katz Craig, we stick to our core beliefs in service, teamwork and principles. That’s why we’ve partnered with Metropolitan Ministries’ annual school supply drive, Backpacks of Hope. Each year, Metropolitan Ministries set out to provide more than 250 Tampa Bay area children with backpacks who might not otherwise have these resources.

SERVICE

In our five years of donations, Butler and its employees has proudly provided over 400 children with backpacks filled to the brim with school supplies such as: pencils, paper, flash drives and binders. Serving our community’s future generation by donating essential educational resources is of the utmost importance to our Firm.

TEAMWORK

Our talented staff and attorneys band together every year to ensure our community’s bright minds get what they need! Our employees came through the office, arms full of glue sticks, notebooks and pens to drop off their contributions. The Human Resource department then gathered all supplies, filling these backpacks in preparation for the students to receive these resources.

PRINCIPLES

Promoting success and furthering education is a principle imperative to our Firm’s mission. Hillsborough County School District is the 8th largest in the nation and has many families that struggle to afford the increasing cost of educational supplies. Butler was happy to contribute to this school year’s drive, making it a success for our community and our team.
