Of Counsel at Butler, Laura L. Reed focuses her practice on insurance subrogation and recovery.  Laura’s specialized practice area includes fires, fire spread, mechanical failures, manufacturer and products liability, structural collapses and fire suppression systems.

Laura graduated from Lehigh University in 1993 and the Widener University School of Law magna cum laude in 1997.  Laura joined Butler in 2007 after having practiced at Cozen O’Connor’s Philadelphia and Charlotte offices and Butrus Khoshbin Wilson & Vogt, LLP’s Charlotte office.  Laura has investigated hundreds of matters involving fires, boiler and machinery claims, construction defects and water damage claims throughout her career.  Laura practices primarily in the Southeast for numerous insurance carriers.
