Laura L. Reed is an Of Counsel attorney with Butler. She brings an extensive history in subrogation and loss cases to our knowledgeable team. Laura handles a wide variety of cases within her specialty of subrogation and recovery. Her practice includes a particular focus on investigation and litigation of subrogation cases involving product liability, fires, machinery claims, suppression systems, cargo claims, and building collapses.
Laura began her education in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Lehigh University in 1993 and went on to study law in Wilmington, Delaware. Exhibiting exceptional performance in law school, Laura graduated magna cum laude in 1997. She was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in 1997 and North Carolina in 1999. Laura is admitted to practice in the Eastern, Middle, and Western districts of the state.
Laura’s law career includes time with law practices in both Pennsylvania and North Carolina. During her many years in the legal profession, she has honed her focus to include a carefully chosen subset of subrogation cases that she has a particular interest in.
In July 2007, Laura joined Butler. She brings her knowledge and experience to our team in Charlotte, North Carolina where she focuses on our subrogation and recovery cases.
