Disciplined in Sophisticated Defense and Insurance Litigation

Robin T. Pero, a Senior Associate at Butler, joined the firm in 1997. She graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with her Bachelor of Science degree in 1987. After that, she worked as a paralegal in New York for two years before she dove into law school. While she attended law school at the University of Akron, she served as the Research Editor for the Akron Law Review. In 1992, she completed her Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree.

While finishing law school, she joined Butler and practiced liability defense. Most of the cases she handles deal with extra-contractual issues. The case types she has handled include those involving issues of bad faith, extra-contractual claims, first-party coverage issues, healthcare insurance fraud, and homeowner's insurance.

Robin is admitted to practice law in both New York and Florida. In Florida, she is admitted to all federal and state courts. She belongs to a number of bar associations, including the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
