Aaron Fortier is an Associate in our Tampa Office. He practices in First-Party Coverage and Extra-Contractual matters, including claims and lawsuits by businesses, condominium associations, and homeowners for property damage and business interruption losses.
Aaron graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Philosophy from the University of North Florida in 2014. He then earned his Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the Florida State University College of Law in 2018. While in law school, he focused on trial advocacy and legal research and writing. Aaron was a member of the FSU Trial Team, competing nationally and serving on the e-board as the National Tournament co-chair. As co-chair he organized a National Civil Mock Trial Tournament hosting a dozen law school teams from across the country. He was also a research assistant helping to complete the publishing of the 2018 edition of the “Florida Criminal Cases Notebook.”
Prior to joining Butler, Aaron served Florida citizens as an Assistant State Attorney in the Tenth Judicial Circuit. As a trial attorney within the office, Aaron was responsible for litigating motions, jury trials, non jury trials, conducting legal research, responding to discovery, and conducting depositions and interviews of witnesses.
