Alisha Taylor is an associate attorney at Butler, based in the Miami office, where she concentrates her practice on complex civil litigation. Her current focus involves defending clients in construction defect cases, premises liability claims, and general liability matters. Alisha handles a variety of high-exposure claims, including those related to significant property damage and personal injury. She is committed to providing effective representation through thorough case analysis and strategic litigation planning.

Prior to joining Butler, Alisha gained significant experience in first-party property insurance defense, negligent security, negligent hiring, and premises liability litigation. During law school, she gained valuable hands-on experience as a law clerk specializing in first-party insurance litigation. Additionally, she clerked for the City of Miami, assisting with legislative drafting and gaining insight into municipal law.  

Alisha earned her Juris Doctor from St.Thomas University School of Law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Alisha spent nearly a decade working as a paralegal in various civil litigation fields, including bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, personal injury, and family law. This diverse background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the litigation process.

In her free time, Alisha enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, running, and traveling.
