Bret Freeman is an Associate at Butler and practices in First-Party Property Coverage and Extra-Contractual practice areas. He graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley law school where he held numerous leadership roles. Most notably, Bret was recognized for his excellent oral argument skills when he was named the winner of The Melissa Mitchell Moot court competition. Bret continues his community involvement and love for oral argument through mentoring competing moot court teams from the University of Tampa and judging local competitions.
Before law school, Bret had a successful career as an HR professional, where he served as HR Leader for several mid and large-sized organizations. Bret also donates his time and energy to several local non-profit organizations aimed at improving the community.
In celebration of Black History Month, we will be taking a look at some important African-American figures that have impacted American culture.
