An Associate at Butler since 2018, Julius Matusewicz practices primarily in our First-Party Coverage, Extra-Contractual, and Cyber Loss departments.
Julius received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Stetson University College of Law in 2017. At Stetson, Julius was a member of its nationally-ranked Trial Team, Moot Court Board, and Dispute Resolution Board. He worked as a teaching assistant for both mandatory first-year legal research and writing courses, and as a research assistant for Stetson’s International Litigation and Arbitration course offered primarily to visiting international students, with a focus on advanced civil procedure. Julius further served as an editor for Stetson’s Journal of Advocacy and the Law, as Vice President of its Tax Law Society, and as the President of the National Organization for Women at Stetson.
Prior to joining the firm, Julius worked at the State Attorney’s Office in Pinellas County, Florida, handling hundreds of cases and numerous trials, both jury and non-jury.
