Lauren Maddox

Lauren Maddox is an Associate Attorney at Butler in the Miami office who practices in First-Party Coverage matters.

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Miami School of Law with honors in 2017. Lauren was the first recipient of the Honorable Judge Thomas S. Wilson, Jr. Endowed Scholarship.

Lauren served as the Business and Online Managing Editor of the University of Miami’s Race and Social Justice Law Review and earned the Exemplary Member- Candidate award. Her article was also published, entitled “His Wrists Were Too Small”: School Resource Officers and the Over-Criminalization of America’s Students, 6 U. Miami Race & Soc. Just. L. Rev. 193 (2016).
