Michael Schaub is an Associate at Butler. He is based in our Tampa office, and practices in First-Party Property Coverage.

Michael received his Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, from Florida State University in 2008, and his Juris Doctor from the University Of Florida Levin College Of Law in 2012.

Prior to joining Butler, Michael served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit for three years. During this time, he handled and tried cases in both misdemeanor and felony divisions.

After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Michael served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida in the Criminal Appeals division for four years. At the Office of Attorney General, he wrote numerous briefs and responses for cases ranging from drug trafficking to first degree murder. Michael has also argued before Florida’s First and Second District Court of Appeals.
