Peter Vogt is a Partner at Butler, having joined the firm in 2007. Peter focuses his practice on insurance Subrogation and Recovery. His specialized practice areas include explosions, fire spread litigation, manufacturer liability, and products liability.

Peter graduated from Dickinson College in 1983 and the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America in 1989. In 1989, Peter joined the firm of Cozen O’Connor where he practiced for twelve years, focusing on insurance subrogation. In 2001, he joined the firm of Butrus Khoshbin Wilson & Vogt, LLP, where he opened the firm’s Charlotte office. Throughout his career, Peter has investigated and litigated hundreds of matters involving fires, crane collapses, water damage, boiler and machinery claims, cargo losses, and construction defects for numerous insurance carriers across the United States. Most recently, Peter and Zach Jett won a 7.3 million dollar verdict in a case venued in York County, South Carolina.
