Patrick Lindley is an Associate Attorney in Butler’s Dallas office. Patrick currently practices in the firm’s subrogation and recovery department.

A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Patrick obtained his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas. Thereafter, Patrick received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas.

After being admitted to the Texas Bar in 2017, Patrick practiced at a large, nationally-known Plaintiff-focused litigation firm in Houston, where his practice focused primarily on catastrophic personal injury, commercial vehicle cases, premises liability, and wrongful death matters. Patrick subsequently joined a highly regarded insurance defense firm in Dallas, where he focused on counseling multinational and regional insurers in first-party property and liability insurance disputes and related coverage matters.

Patrick is licensed to practice in all Texas State Courts, all Louisiana State Courts, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He is licensed to practice in the United States Court of Federal Claims in Washington, DC.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife, Jilian, and their family and friends. Patrick is also an avid SMU Mustangs fan despite the pain which is caused by doing so.
