S. Cristina Perez (legal name Perez-Tanner) joined Butler as an Associate in 2013. Her practice mostly involves representing insurers in Coverage disputes, Global Settlements, and Extra-Contractual matters. Cristina also has experience with pre-suit and litigated coverage disputes, automobile accident liability, first-party property disputes, and extra-contractual liability.

Cristina graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 2004. She went on to earn a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Florida Coastal School of Law in 2007. Before joining Butler, Cristina worked for an insurance defense firm in Jacksonville, Florida and as an attorney advisor for the Social Security Administration.
