Shaniqua S. Biggins is an Associate Attorney in Butler’s Dallas office. She currently practices in our Subrogation and Recovery department.
Shaniqua attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts degree. She subsequently attended the University of Mississippi School of Law where she was named an advanced student in the law school’s clinical program and was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board. In addition to her legal studies, Shaniqua served as a legal extern for the Seventeenth District Attorney Office of Mississippi and Shelby County Attorney Office. Shaniqua graduated cum laude with her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree.
Prior to joining Butler, Shaniqua practiced in the areas of personal injury, civil litigation, and criminal defense. She also served as the Public Defender for the City of Horn Lake, Mississippi. Shaniqua is licensed to practice law in Texas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
Active in her community, Shaniqua has devoted countless hours of community service to tutoring grade school children and mentoring adolescent individuals. Shaniqua also advocates for human rights and education reform through various nonprofit organizations and is passionate about their progression.
