Attorney Jason Lowe presented with co-presenters Wayne Sowers AIC, CPCU, Senior Executive General Adjuster, Cunningham Lindsey; and Eric Ficken of Matson, Discoll & Damico, LLP, at the PLRB Eastern Regional Adjusters Conference on the topic “Commercial Time Element: Common Pitfalls,” in Hartford, CT.
The presentation focused on the various types of commercial time element coverages, as well as the common pitfalls encountered when substantiating and proving commercial time element damages.
The purposes and objectives of the Property & Liability Resource Bureau (PLRB) are: (1) To concern itself with, and encourage productivity and efficiency in, the property and liability loss and claim adjustment processes of members and the industry as a whole; (2) To disseminate information on property and liability issues among members and within the insurance industry; and (3) To promote education and new and beneficial developments within the property and casualty insurance industry.
