Daniel E. Sobel is an accomplished associate attorney at Butler. Based out of Tampa, his primary practice area is coverage defense. With a deep understanding of Florida’s property insurance laws and regulations, Daniel primarily handles first-party property insurance coverage defense cases, third-party liability, and related extra-contractual matters. Daniel has established a reputation for providing effective legal counsel and representation to insurance carries.
Daniel received his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Florida State University in 2017. While at Florida State University, he was selected to serve on a legislative internship with Florida House State Representative, District 68. After that, Daniel studied at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2020.
After being admitted to the bar, Daniel practiced at an insurance defense litigation firm in Coral Springs, Florida, where he managed civil litigation cases consisting of general liability and First-Party property matters on behalf of insurance companies. Daniel subsequently moved to Tampa and joined a highly regarded insurance defense firm as an associate attorney, where he continued to represent various insurance carriers in first-party-property litigation matters and related coverage matters.
Outside the Courtroom, Daniel is committed to staying at the forefront of legal trends in property insurance and regularly participates in continuing legal education seminars.
When not advocating for clients, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Additionally, Daniel enjoys spending time at the dog park with his Australian Shepherd, Ozzy.
