Randy Thorn

Randy Thorn is an Associate in Butler’s Tampa office. His practice focuses on construction litigation.

Prior to joining Butler, he worked in construction litigation with a national law firm representing general contractors and subcontractors. His legal career began with practicing family law and medical malpractice defense at a boutique firm, where he served as senior counsel.

Randy earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he was a Distinguished Military Graduate. Upon graduating from West Point, he served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army. After leaving military service, Randy worked as an engineer for two large chemical manufacturing companies before attending law school at the University of Montana School of Law. His background in engineering provides him with a unique perspective within construction litigation.
