Ted Mahan is an attorney in Butler’s Chicago office practicing in our Subrogation and Recovery group. He has experience in civil defense and intellectual property litigation in state and federal courts.
Ted’s background provides the perspective and precision to deliver for clients where creatively seeking positive outcomes is at the core of this area of legal focus. He has experience litigating intellectual property and civil defense matters in federal and state courts.
Ted was a member of the law review at Loyola University Chicago School of Law while obtaining his law degree. He provided services in a pro bono clinic focused on veterans. As a former U.S. Air Force officer, Ted particularly enjoyed assisting that community to meet their legal needs. He obtained an engineering degree from the University of Notre Dame and worked in the fields of imaging satellites and wireless telecommunications prior to law school. Ted enjoys spending time with his family.
