First Annual, The Paul B. Butler Service Award Goes to Tenille Turner-trigg

February 1, 2016

The recipient of The Paul B. Butler Service Award is chosen from among that year’s winners of the STEP award. In this inaugural year of the award program, the Quality Committee had an outstanding group of STEP award winners to consider. Ours was not an easy choice, but we feel confident we have made a good one. The very first recipient of The Paul B. Butler Service Award also was the very first recipient of the STEP award. That is, of course, Tenille Turner-Trigg.

As we noted when presenting the STEP award to Tenille, the move from Harbor Island to the Rivergate Tower required work and patience from many. But Tenille was one who stood out, shouldering more than her share of the work and bearing the hardships with exemplary patience.

She met with the movers and became their point of contact. She evaluated problems and recommended solutions. She created a detailed plan for the most efficient order of events and oversaw the operation on the ground. All of that required long hours and long workweeks.

The Quality Committee is pleased to name Tenille the first recipient of The Paul B. Butler Service Award. She justifies our choice by virtue of her extraordinary efforts in the move, as in so many firm matters. Moreover, she exemplifies the spirit of excellence and teamwork that makes BUTLER a great firm, and a wonderful place to work. Congratulations, Tenille.
