Christmas is a time of year when loved ones and friends come together to share the good cheer and give in love and kindness. But for some, who do not have family nearby it is not possible for them to gather and share in the celebrations.
Spreading hope and making Christmas special for those in need is the purpose behind Butler’s Annual Holiday Gift Drive.
This year, Butler partnered once again with The Windsor House & Amelia ALF. The adults residing in the Assisted Living Facilities are physically and mentally disabled and the majority of them do not have families in the area. Attorneys and staff members at the Firm volunteered to adopt 41 adults from the living facilities. Each adult provided their wish list requesting basic needs like socks, sweaters and pajamas, which the volunteers happily purchased and provided.
This Christmas 41 adults will receive a bit of holiday cheer through a gift that was thoughtfully wrapped, packaged in a festive bag and personalized with their name on it.
