Paola Solano is a Senior Associate at Butler based in the Miami office and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Paola focuses her practice in the area of Construction Defect claims, Premises Liability, Products Liability, Negligent/Inadequate Security, Wrongful Death, Trucking Accidents, and Automobile Negligence

What do you like most about living in Miami?

What I like most about living in Miami is that it feels like I’m in my home town, Colombia.  From the vibrant colors of the city, the beaches, yearlong summer weather, its charismatic people, and the different flavors and variety of foods, which all bring me back to my roots.   

What’s your philosophy or approach to representing a case?

Every case is unique but I always review the facts of the case first, establish contact with client to understand what their objective with the case is, then develop a discovery plan and try to be as aggressive as possible in defending the case. I strive to provide to each of our clients with the highest quality of work while obtaining the best result possible for a case.

What has been your most significant achievement/success or contribution to the firm?

 I feel my most significant achievement has been making our clients happy by obtaining great outcomes on our cases, through motions for summary judgment.

When you’re not working hard on cases, what do you enjoy doing for fun?

I enjoy cooking new recipes, working out, reading, going to the beach, and as silly as it may sound, keeping up with the Bachelor and Bachelorette reality TV show.
