Amy Fuertes

Amy Fuertes is a Senior Associate at Butler. She works in our Miami office, focusing her practice on First-Party Property Coverage matters. She litigates in both state and federal courts and is admitted to practice in Florida as well as the United States District Court for both the Middle and Southern districts of Florida.

Amy graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish for International Trade with a minor in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She then received her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. While in law school, Amy served as the Executive Editor of the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law.

Prior to joining Butler, she gained experience litigating first-party property damage insurance claims representing both insureds and multiple insurance companies in both residential and commercial disputes.
