Carl Hognefelt

Carl J. Hognefelt as Of Counsel in Butler’s Tampa office, practicing in Casualty Defense Litigation and Construction Matters.

Carl has practiced law in Southwest Florida for over twenty years. He has appeared in court before judges on various matters in both state and federal courts. He has practiced primarily in civil litigation and personal injury law. He has also practiced areas such as insurance coverage law, banking law, mortgage law, securities law, consumer credit law, and medical malpractice law.

Carl has represented clients at all stages of litigation, ranging from pre-suit negotiations to lawsuit filing, discovery, jury trial, and appeal. He has also advised clients on business formation, contract drafting, and contract enforcement.

Throughout his career, Carl has represented and catered to clients of limited financial means and with mental and physical disabilities. He has also represented high-net-worth individuals and catered to their particular needs. Currently, he works with Mr. Linero in the general liability department, using his broad experience to assist our clients with a wide range of legal needs.
