Donisha Weightman

Donisha Weightman is an Associate at Butler and works in our Tampa office, where she practices First-Party Property coverage. Donisha received her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising with a Minor in Spanish from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, where she was a member of the Women’s Track and Field team. She then graduated with her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2015. While in law school, Donisha was an Election Board Member of the Student Bar Association and a Student Ambassador. She graduated with Pro Bono Honors and made the Dean’s List.

Before joining Butler, Donisha gained valuable experience in Creditors’ Rights, specifically in foreclosure, and began her First-Party Property career in 2019 at a large Florida Insurance Defense law firm. She also has experience in representing homeowners in First-Party Property lawsuits throughout Florida.

In her spare time, Donisha enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her dog, Blaze.
