Jeanne Leconte is an Associate at Butler’s Miami Office and focuses her practice on complex civil litigation centering on construction defects, high-stake personal injury claims, and insurance-related disputes.

Jeanne attained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, from Florida International University and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Thomas University School of Law. Her academic journey was distinguished by multiple prestigious scholarships and honors at both institutions.

Before becoming an attorney, Jeanne gained invaluable experience working alongside trial attorneys for years. She began her career at a high-volume defense firm, where she honed her skills in legal analysis and risk assessment. The role also sharpened her ability to manage time and handle cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment. She joins Butler with a proven track record of securing remarkable settlements, saving time, reducing risks, and delivering results that exceed expectations. Jeanne practices litigation on behalf of individuals, public and private companies nationwide involving complex high-exposure lawsuits in the following areas: construction defect, crane and construction equipment, environmental, medical malpractice, pharmaceutical, premises liability, product defect, toxic torts, and trucking cases.

Beyond her legal practice, Jeanne is deeply committed to community service. She was an active member of the Public Interest Law Society during law school and later served as a Guardian ad Litem volunteer advocating the best interests of children involved in the legal system. Her compassion extends to supporting women and children who are victims of
domestic violence through her support of Broward Outreach Center and Cover Girls, nonprofit organizations dedicated to providing resources, empowerment, and support to those in need. Jeanne’s professional achievements and volunteer efforts underscore her unwavering dedication to making a difference in the lives of others.

Balancing her professional achievements with personal fulfillment, she enjoys snowboarding and cheering on her favorite NFL team, “Go Fins,” and is especially proud of raising her daughter, who graduated high school salutatorian and is on her own path of excellence.
