John Sherman is an Associate in our Miami office, where his practice focuses on First-Party Property Coverage.
John represents insurance carriers in both state and federal courts and was also admitted to practice in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Prior to joining Butler, John gained experience in the defense of multiple insurance carriers throughout Florida while working for a mid-sized defense firm in Miami, Florida. He also has experience in the fields of personal injury and bankruptcy.
John received his Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Florida State University in 2010 and later received his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University College of Law. He also interned for the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office shortly after graduating from law school.
John enjoys his free time gardening, fishing, cooking, traveling, and playing poker.
