Keegan Lathan is an Associate at Butler in our Tampa office. He practices first-party property coverage and extra-contractual claims.

Keegan began his career working for an insurance defense firm, handling first-party property matters throughout Florida. Prior to joining Butler, Keegan spent several years serving as in-house counsel for a national insurance company where he litigated Personal Injury Protection, Comprehensive/Collision, Bodily Injury, and Subrogation matters.

Keegan holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and History, cum laude, from Florida State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Keegan enjoys playing soccer and basketball and participating in competitive swimming. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children. Also, Keegan is a member of Harborside Christian Church in Safety Harbor, Florida.
