Marta King

Marta King is an associate attorney practicing first-party coverage. Born and raised in Panama, Marta became a licensed attorney in her home country. Marta earned both her law degrees, magna cum laude, in two different languages. Marta’s dedication to the legal profession stems from the invaluable influence of her parents, two seasoned Panamanian attorneys. Notably, Marta is still licensed to practice in Panama.

Before making Tampa her home, Marta gained valuable experience working in the United Kingdom, where she focused on subrogation, assisting cargo insurers worldwide in settling cargo claims, including general average and salvage claims. Overall, Marta has served in the insurance claims sector for a decade and received her legal training across four different countries. Marta brings a unique perspective with her diverse legal background and experience.

Beyond the office, Marta’s passions extend to the great outdoors. She can often be found planning her next hiking adventure, riding along the Tampa Riverwalk, or cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning.
