Melissa Rodriguez

Melissa Rodriguez is an attorney in Butler’s Tampa Office assisting with first-party property coverage claims. She was born and raised in Dunkirk, NY.

Melissa graduated from Jamestown Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Individual Studies. After that, she graduated from The State University of New York at Fredonia with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While at SUNY Fredonia, Melissa gained her initial passion for the law by interning with a real estate law firm and being a member of Fredonia’s Mock Trial Team.

After graduating, Melissa moved to the Sunshine State and began working as a legal assistant at a personal injury law firm in Gainesville. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson, Melissa was a member of the #1 ranked Trial Team in the U.S. and Stetson’s Dispute Resolution Board.

In her spare time, Melissa likes traveling, spending time with her dog Gatsby, and trying new restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. Melissa is also fluent in Spanish.
