Pattie joined the Butler family as a Paralegal for former Partner Kathy Maus in October 2001 and continues to work with all attorneys in our Tallahassee Office.  With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, she began her career as a claim’s specialist for the insurance industry where she adjusted claims for Kmart for 5 years.  She then moved over to Butler Weihmuller Katz Craig, LLP, where she participates in all phases of litigation, including insurance defense, insurance coverage, complex litigation, construction defect, bad faith, wrongful death, trucking and personal injury defense.  She participates in trial preparation and trials.  She transitioned into the Tallahassee Office Manager position in March 2020 and also continues to work as a litigation Paralegal.

Pattie studied Criminology at Valdosta State University and completed her Paralegal training at the National Center for Paralegal Training.  She is the former Secretary for the Southwest Georgia Technical College Paralegal Studies Advisory Committee and remains a member today.  She has been a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, and the Florida and Georgia Chapters of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals.

Pattie is an energetic community leader and philanthropist, having served as the former Secretary of the Boston, Georgia Community Club where she remains an active Club Member today. She also volunteers at the Foundation of Life Homeless Shelter in Thomasville, Georgia.

One More Lap! Moving the Community Together

How long have you been participating in this Mini-Marathon? I have been a member of the Boston Community Club for 5 years.  We put on the Mini-Marathon so that we can raise money to have events throughout the year for our community.  Before Covid hit, we hosted Fun Day one Saturday and had the community kids and their parents, or actually, anyone who wanted to come, to have hotdogs...
