Butler’s First “Step-Up” Award Furthers Commitment to Service

May 6, 2016

Service to the community at large remains one of Butler’s most valued commitments. Recently, the fantastic work by the Firm’s Community Service Committee, under the leadership of David Maldoff, has selected a winner of the first “Butler Step-Up Award”. This award will be given to selected high school seniors in each city where the Firm has an office. Deserving students who have exhibited a commitment to community service and have been accepted to a college or university are considered for the award, with the winners receiving a new laptop to further their education in college.

Thus far, Michael Montgomery and Carin Brock have presented the award to Mobile’s winner, Kenneth Germany of W. P. Davidson High School. Congratulations Kenneth and the Committee looks forward to recognizing recipients in the remaining cities with this award.
