Butler Weihmuller Katz Craig LLP – a nationally recognized, AV-rated civil litigation firm – is seeking a talented attorney to join our Dallas office in our Liability Defense practice group. This dynamic team handles the defense of liability claims at all stages, including pre-suit analysis and litigation.

We offer a competitive compensation package and robust benefits.  Base salary plus non-discretionary bonuses available.

Butler offers a flexible hybrid schedule, combining remote and in-office work.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Two to seven years of experience in defense of premises liability claims or similar types of negligence who is eager to grow in a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.
  • Exceptional writing analytical and oral advocacy skills
  • Strong time management and communication abilities
  • A detail-oriented mindset
  • A collaborative, team-first attitude
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and respond to urgent matters effectively
  • Experience defending liability claims in litigation, including, but not limited to, discovery, depositions, drafting of pleadings and motions, mediations, etc.
  • Writing sample required
