Gina Smith Earns the Certified Litigation Management Professional (Clmp) Designation

Gina G. Smith, Partner in Butler’s Tallahassee office, recently completed the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) Litigation Management Institute (LMI) at Columbia Law School in New York, earning the Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) designation. 

The intensive program is taught by senior insurance company and large self-insured company executives, risk and senior claim officers and in-house and outside defense counsel on a variety of subjects, including risk transfer, loss development, financial considerations, case and claim management strategies, alternative fee agreements, client relations and e-discovery. Participants from all over the country were evaluated on project presentation skills, classroom participation, and peer reviews.

Gina litigation practice focuses on first-party property disputes and claims involving suspected arson or fraud. She currently serves as a sub-committee chair on the CLM Insurance Fraud Committee and was an instructor at the 2015 CLM Claims College School of Insurance Fraud.
