Tampa partner Tim Engelbrecht participated in the Great American Teach-In.
Tim spoke to several classes of students at Freedom High School in Tampa about what it is like to be a lawyer. The students asked Tim about what sort of schooling was required to be a lawyer, what an average day as a lawyer is like, and how lawyers can help people in their community and beyond. The students that Tim spoke to came from very diverse backgrounds. The vast majority of students had never met or spoken to a lawyer before. The opportunity served to inspire students by showing them that they too can pursue a career in law even if they had thought previously that it was beyond their reach.
