The firm is pleased to announce that Sandy Peninger is the winner of this year’s Paul B. Butler Service Award.
Each year, the firm selects an employee from the prior year’s STEP award winners to recognize with this prestigious honor. Like the STEP award, the award is given to an employee who exemplifies service, teamwork, excellence, and adherence to Butler’s principles. It is named after our founding partner in recognition of his devotion to service to the firm, its clients, and the community.
Sandy is the Legal Administrative Clerk in the Charlotte office. She brings an unfettered attitude of “what can I do today to help” to the office daily and displays endless drive to complete whatever tasks she faces. She is often the “jack of all trades” in administrative matters for the Charlotte Subrogation and Coverage groups. Sandy exemplifies service to the firm, its clients, and the community. She is heavily involved in her local church groups and was the first to volunteer for community service activities at the firm. She dives in wholeheartedly when faced with learning new assignments or new computer software. She even learned Vietnamese to welcome a client to the office!
The Charlotte office benefits from her willingness to lend a hand and her ability to wade through multiple projects, work extra hours, and ensure everything is done perfectly and on time. Sandy exemplifies the service that the Paul B. Butler Service Award embodies.
