Several recalls have been issued due to fire hazards. Royal Oak Enterprises has recalled lighters that fail to meet the mandatory standard for multipurpose lighters because they lack the required child-resistant mechanisms, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire and burn hazards. PQL has also recalled High Bay Linear LED Light Fixtures due to an issue. The retaining pins used to secure the LED board in some units can degrade, allowing it to come loose in the fixture and posing a fire hazard. Lastly, Hisense has recalled the Babysense Max View Baby Monitors due to an issue: the display or “parent” unit can overheat and/or spark when charging, posing a fire hazard to consumers.
