Several times a year, the firm presents an employee with the STEP Award, recognizing outstanding service, teamwork, excellence and adherence to the firm’s principals. Recently, the firm presented the STEP Award to Mercy Jimenez, a paralegal in the our Miami office.
Mercy is a trial paralegal, and spends long hours in trial for weeks at a time, assisting the firm’s trial attorneys in complex cases. She pro-actively handles trial evidence, coordinates witnesses and experts, and keeps track of voluminous discovery. Her work and dedication are an indispensable asset to Butler’s trial team.
