Denise M. Anderson Elected Managing Partner at Butler Weihmuller Katz & Craig
Tampa, FL – Tampa Partner Denise M. Anderson has been elected as Managing Partner of Butler Weihmuller Katz Craig beginning on January 1, 2024. She serves as the Chairperson of the firm’s Construction Litigation Practice Group and as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. The firm previously was managed by Tampa Partner Scott Katz, who stepped down after nine years to return to his active practice in subrogation and insurance law.
Denise is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar and holds an AV peer-rated status by Martindale-Hubbell. Denise’s practice focuses on defending clients in claims involving construction defects and products liability. Denise has shown herself a leader outside of the firm as well. Denise served as Regional Chairperson for the Women in Construction Litigation Alliance and has held leadership roles in the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys and the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance.
