Erin Isdell is an Associate at Butler. Erin works in our Tampa office and practices in First-Party Property Coverage and Extra-Contractual claims. She was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and received her Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia in 2007. After graduating, Erin moved to Florida and received her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2011.

While at Stetson, Erin was a teaching fellow and a member of the Moot Court Board. In 2010, Erin and her teammate won the Veterans Law Appellate Advocacy Competition in Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining Butler, Erin served the people of the State of Florida as an Assistant State Attorney in the Sixth Judicial Circuit for over 6 years. As a felony line attorney, she handled thousands of cases, including First Degree Murders, Child Abuse and Sex Offenses, and various other violent felonies. Erin also litigated over 30 trials during her time as an Assistant State Attorney.
