Chicago Partner Jonathan Barger will present at the PLRB 2026 Large Loss Conference on November 5th and 6th in Nashville, Tennessee. Alongside co-presenter Jack Nevins (SEA, Ltd.), Jonathan will examine a complex insurance coverage dispute involving a 2015 steel mill control system failure and resulting business interruption claims.

The presentation will explore the circumstances surrounding the system failure, the role of digital forensics in determining its cause, and the insurance coverage issues that led to federal litigation. Attendees will also gain insight into electronic evidence preservation, policy exclusions, and practical considerations for investigating and managing technology-related property claims.
